The McCall MacBain Scholarships 2026 are available for:
Master’s Programs
Second-entry professional programs
Undergraduate programs (where applicable) at McGill University
All disciplines at McGill University are eligible, offering scholars the flexibility to pursue their preferred field of study.
Successful recipients receive a comprehensive package, including:
Full tuition and fees for the standard duration of the program
Monthly living stipend of $2,300 CAD during academic terms
One-time relocation grant to support moving to Montréal
Access to French language courses from beginner to advanced levels
Opportunity to apply for up to $5,000 CAD for meaningful summer initiatives if not enrolled in an academic term during the summer
Open to Canadian, U.S., and international students of all nationalities.
Applicants must meet at least one of the following conditions:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program, expected to graduate by August 2026
Obtained a first bachelor’s degree within the last five years (January 2020 or later)
Earned a first bachelor’s degree more than five years ago and aged 30 or younger as of January 1, 2025
Additionally, applicants must satisfy the minimum academic and language requirements for admission to a McGill master’s program.
