Eligible Applicants: Nonprofit organizations registered in Ukraine with at least 2 years of relevant community project experience
The Eastern Europe Foundation invites proposals from civil society organizations (CSOs) to support the recovery and development of communities in Ukraine affected by war and crisis.
The program encourages projects that:
Build resilient, inclusive, and sustainable communities.
Strengthen community dialogue between local authorities and citizens.
Restore basic services and implement comprehensive development plans.
Promote mental health support and employment assistance for community members.
Support adult education, vocational training, and labor market integration.
Enhance social cohesion, safe public spaces, and inclusivity.
Assist in the reintegration of veterans and IDPs and psychosocial support.
Encourage initiatives that align with Ukraine’s European integration goals.
Policy and regulatory support for recovery-related planning.
Citizen engagement and participatory governance.
Access to and quality improvement of public services.
Employment generation, particularly for vulnerable groups: women, youth, veterans, IDPs.
Vocational development, retraining, and adult education programs.
Resilience measures: generators, solar panels, protective gear, and safety equipment in frontline or high-risk areas.
Applicants must:
Be nonprofit organizations registered in Ukraine.
Have at least 2 years of experience delivering community-level projects.
Not be individuals, businesses, political parties, or entities in occupied/frontline territories.
Funding 1,100,000 – 1,600,000 UAH per project.
Projects last 6–8 months.
Focus on community recovery, resilience, and sustainable development.
This grant offers a strategic opportunity for CSOs to contribute meaningfully to Ukraine’s post-crisis recovery while empowering communities to participate in shaping their own futures.
