The UNHCR is seeking capable organizations to implement a project that integrates:
Primary healthcare services (including consultations, family planning, and essential medical care).
Mental health & psychosocial support (counseling, psychological support, psychoeducation).
Community-based health outreach (via trained community health workers).
The project aims to:
Improve access to essential health services for displaced populations.
Strengthen protection mechanisms and resilience among refugees.
Promote health education, mental health awareness, and gender-based violence guidance.
Static Clinic in Klang Valley:
Consultations, family planning, and referral services.
Mental Health Care Expansion:
Professional counseling and clinical psychology services.
Structured referral pathways for specialized care.
Community Health Worker Outreach:
Health education and awareness campaigns.
Contraceptive guidance and community support.
Act as liaison between beneficiaries and service providers.
Strong measures required for handling personal health data (demographics, medical histories, vaccination records).
Submission must include:
Completed Data Protection & Information Security Self-Assessment.
Procedures for secure storage, responsible use, and restricted sharing of personal data aligned with UNHCR principles.
Organizations must demonstrate:
Technical capacity and multisectoral coordination.
Innovative strategies reflecting understanding of local contexts.
Implementation plan and indicative budget.
Procurement policies and Protection from Sexual Exploitation & Abuse (PSEA) measures.
Unique strengths and added value to UNHCR’s mission.
Qualified organizations can meaningfully contribute to:
Health improvement and resilience of refugees and asylum-seekers.
Integrated service delivery and community empowerment.
